Next week Professor Patricia Roberts-Miller, author of the FIrst Year Book, Demagoguery and Democracy, will visit campus.
There are two main events open to students, faculty members and staff: Thursday, November 7, 4pm in the Colony Ballroom, Stamp Student Union: "Us versus them: A discussion with Patricia Robets-Miller on demagoguery and how it influences our daily lives." Friday, November 7, 12:30 in ESJ 1202: "Dialogues on Deliberation" about reflecting on how our daily conversation habits and social practices contribute to a challenge a culture of demagoguery.
