The Office of Sustainability is seeking volunteers to assist with the Sustainability booth at Maryland Day. Our deadline is February 20, 2020.
The booth will be devoted to celebrating Earth Day 2020, the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. We will be highlighting the timeline, history and accomplishments relating to environmental action in the past 50 years. We will host fun, hand-on upcycling craft activities for kids and all ages. We will also sign up visitors to the Sustainability Pledge, to help people not only learn ways to action, but to commit to following through with tools and resources. If you are passionate about sustainability and want to help raise awareness and encourage action to a broader community, please sign up here to volunteer! Note that this can count for an alternate field trip OR an extra credit opportunity (not both). Comments are closed.
